Euglena
Euglena is produced in the famous pristine environment of Ishigaki island of Okinawa, Japan; famous for the large percentage of centenarians in its population. It’s rich heritage dates back to the 1900s. Its research culminated in a Nobel Prize award and numerous NASA space projects.
Euglena is a species of microalgae with unique properties that are very helpful to our body and they have a compound called Paramylon that can only be found within them. It helps to enhance our immune system and its molecular structure helps to remove toxins and undesirable substances like fats, cholesterol, purines, etc. from our body.
Euglena’s use as a health supplement was made possible when Euglena Co. Ltd successfully mass cultivated it in 2005. This involved technological collaboration with Tokyo University, Osaka Prefecture University and Kinki University of Japan.
