Physician's Series Advanced All-In-One Immune Support is uniquely formulated to enhance immunity by systematically activating the different components of the immune system to fight against infections, colds and flu.

Natural Nutritional Approaches that Optimize Immune Responses

Each day, there are billions of disease-causing viruses and other microbes all around us.

Our immune system is a complex and pervasive system with a key aim of fighting against infections and illnesses in our bodies. It comprises of different types of cells carrying out their specific functions with their own unique ways of communicating among immune cells and other cells. Some members of the immune system include lymphocytes, phagocytes, natural killer cells, antibodies, macrophages, among others. They participate in either one, or both, of the 2 main strategies of immune functions: innate immunity and adaptive immunity.

Nutrients have been shown to activate and stimulate the different components of the immune system to fend off invading viruses and microbes.

Physician’s Series understands the exacting standards that a practitioner needs when dispensing a product as part of his/her clinical practice.

Physician's Series Advanced All-In-One Immune Support effectively mounts a good defense against viruses and microbes by stimulating various components of the immune system, as well as improving the body’s nutritional status to enhance repair and recovery.

Beta-glucan

Beta-glucans are naturally occurring polysaccharides that interact with cell surface receptors to activate macrophages and natural killer cell functions.1-3

Beta-glucans also act as prebiotics, the medium for probiotics to work on to activate our immune system.1-3

Probiotics

Probiotics regulate innate and adaptive immune responses through signaling pathways which initiate gene expression and activate relevant immune cells.4-7 Their actions start as early as preventing pathogens from adhering to the cells, to stimulating immune responses and finally modulating infection-induced inflammation.4-7 Through enhancing gut health, probiotics induce systemic protective responses.4-6

This formula provides a total of 9 strains of probiotics with stability and potency assured and DNA identified.

Vitamin D

With an onset of an infection, vitamin D occupies receptors on the surface of immune cells, and trigger a cascade of events, which includes producing compounds and cells needed for phagocytosis (removal of pathogens) and suppress inflammation.8-11

Vitamin D also activates the genes that govern antimicrobial peptide production and suppresses inflammation, which are particularly dangerous in certain flu cases.8-10

Vitamin C

Vitamin C produces beneficial effects on virtually all aspects of the immune system; from supporting the barrier function of cells to pathogens, enhancing growth of immune cells and raising antibody levels, to generating reactive oxygen species to deactivate pathogens, to clearing debris from infection site to minimize tissue damage.12-14

Vitamin C supplementation have been shown to decrease the incidence and duration of colds, as well as reducing the severity of cold symptoms.15-17

Last but not least, this formula also supplies essential nutrients needed by our body to make new cells to repair the system.
